I also notice that you've omitted Elizabeth from the list of Jonathan and Betsy's children.

Jacob and Elizabeth never strayed far from 28 John Street, as Jacob was still living in John Street (number unknown) when he died. He was buried, aged 62, on 20 November 1936 in St Swithin's cemetery, Lincoln.

I can't find any marriage registration for Jacob.

Elizabeth Atkin, aged 92, was buried 15 December 1964 also in St Swithin's cemetery. Her address at the time of death was Burton Cliff House.

I would presume Elizabeth is the one with a birth registration in March quarter 1872.

I presume you have all the details for Matilda and Emma after they married

      --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Burton Cliff House (402 Burton Road, Lincoln) - it's a couple of miles from John Street. That's why I commented on Elizabeth's location in 1911.

"The property sale that has the highest recorded price in Burton Road to date is 402, Burton Cliff House, which sold for ?593,730 on 20/12/2001."

I'm fairly certain (by looking at old maps) that it was just here http://tinyurl.com/yat7zeb but I can't see a big house there today. Perhaps it was demolished for a new "development".

      --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The owner of Burton Cliff House was, for many years, a local industrialist Louis W SMITH http://tinyurl.com/ycc3xhd - perhaps it later became a care home for the elderly which is how Elizabeth finished up there.

It seems it still is http://www.privatehealth.co.uk/elder...947&p=8&char=B
